Traditional paella pans

from £5.95

Our size in cm refers to the top diameter of the pan

Genuine Valencian brushed steel paella pans with indentations on the base for more even cooking. Best used on a flame whether gas or open fire.

After use, this traditional brushed steel paella pan must be washed by hand, thoroughly dried & wiped with cooking oil. If these easy care instructions are followed the pan will last for many years. If not, it may rust and no returns are accepted if for this reason.

Not suitable for dishwashers.

If we are out of stock of brushed steel pans, we reserve the right to send a black enamelled pan at no extra cost.

Chefs tip: As you will see in the photo of the pans, the manufacturer has written on the packaging sticker both the size of the paella pan in cms as well as how many portions it serves. In practise it is more helpful to focus on the size in cms as the suggested serving sizes are for small portions. If you watch my videos cooking paellas, you will notice they should be thin and wide so the rice cooks evenly. In reality, pans under 22cm serve 1 portion, from 24cms to 32cms they serve 2 portions, from 34cms to 36cms they serve 3, 38cms serves 3, 40cms to 44cms serve 4, etc. My suggestion is that for your home you get the widest paella pan your burner can handle. And how wide is that you may be asking yourself? I suggest you measure your burner with a ruler or measuring tape and calculate about 12cms each side of the burner itself. So if your burner measures 12 cms (which is very common) I would go for a pan of 36cms. This way you can cook incredible paellas for 4 people and up to 5 people if you push it.
